Penelope and Morty January Date Summary

Mort and I just returned from Hawaii. We have been to the big island before but this year we saw the entire island by a 4 wheel Jeep- this is the only way to travel.
Morty and I went on a mile hike to see some petroglyphs, we went off roading to the green sand beach and drove up to the top of the highest mountain.
I love me some Morty!!

Pretty sure you were the one that asked me if you have to leave the house for your dates because you don't have any babysitters? You asked if you can just go out on the deck when the baby is asleep!!! HAWAII IS NOT THE DECK, GIRL!!!

What a fantastic date! Even if you did have to leave a cute little boy home with grandma.

Wow, what a date! It looks amazing there :) We've never been to the big island or a green sand beach before. We'll have to put it on our bucket list!

Ok so the mall is not Hawaii, I will have to let Craigger know about your January date, he is planning our February date. Hawaii would work for me too. You luckies!

Thanks for stopping by the 2*12 Project. We all know how important it is to make time for each other in a marriage. Kids, work, and busy schedules can make it hard to get time for just the two of you. The 2*12 Project is a challenge to schedule a date with your mate, at least once a month. The monthly date can be something simple and low cost such as a walk on a nature trail or more along the lines of a fancy weekend away. This is up to each couple and what works best with their style and pocketbook! Members participating in the 2*12 Project pay dues at the beginning of the year. Each month they complete their date and blog about what they did, they earn an entry into our drawing at the end of the year. A random drawing will be held at the end of the year and the winning couple will earn a cash prize! This site will also feature great date ideas and inspiration from around the web.

Who doesn't love extra entries? Here are a few ways you can earn an extra extra entry into the end-of-the-year jackpot!

*Share your Love Story
(Write a short story to be published...How long you have been married, how you met, do you have children, etc.)

*Tell us about your First Date
(Write a short summary of your first date! Who asked who, what did you do, etc. Was it a match made in heaven?)

*The Proposal
(Was it grand or bland? Either way is fine, but tell us how it all went down.)

*The Wedding Photo
(Who doesn't love looking at wedding photos? Send us a photo from your wedding to share)
